Why We Built InvoiceFree
Invoicing should take 60 seconds, not 15 minutes of signing up, verifying an email, rejecting promotional upsells, and fighting with watermarks on the resulting PDF.
Most "free" invoice tools online follow a familiar pattern: they offer a basic interface, but when you click "Download PDF", they hit you with a forced registration screen, place watermarks over your company logo, or cap you at three invoices per month before demanding a $15/month subscription.
We built InvoiceFree because independent workers deserve a genuinely free tool that treats them with respect.

You can land on this website, fill out an invoice, and download a clean PDF in seconds. We never ask for an email address or password.
2. Zero Watermarks
Your invoice represents your business. We never add our logo, promotional text, or watermarks to your client documents.
3. Complete Client-Side Privacy
Everything runs in your browser. Your customer lists, rates, billing addresses, and revenue numbers are never uploaded to a cloud server.
4. Unlimited Usage
Create 1 invoice or 1,000 invoices. There are no monthly tiers, trial periods, or artificial limits.
How We Handle Data & Sustainability
Because InvoiceFree operates entirely client-side using modern web standards (semantic HTML5, modern CSS, and vanilla JavaScript), our infrastructure overhead is exceptionally low. The static website is hosted globally on Cloudflare Pages edge network, costing virtually nothing per page view.
This allows us to keep the core tool 100% free forever without resorting to intrusive paywalls, tracking scripts, or data harvesting.
